Recognized as having extraordinary talent from a very young age, Francesco Borali was born in Milan. 

After graduating from the “Giuseppe Verdi” Milan Conservatory of Music in 1986, he continued his studies under the tutelage of Sandor Vegh, Franco Gulli, and Riccardo Brengola at the “Chigiana Academy” in Siena, Tuscany. In 1992 he earned the “Solisten Diplom” at the Wintherthur School of Music in Switzerland.

Francesco has performed around the world under prestigious music directors such as Zubin Metha, George Prètre, Carlo Maria Giulini, Sawallish, Riccardo Muti, Riccardo Chailly, Gustavo Dudamel, Fabio Luisi.

In 1989 Francesco was appointed professor at the Civic School of Music “Claudio Abbado”in Milan. 

Francesco is the recipient of numerous awards recognizing his superb musicianship, including the International “Franz Schubert Prize in Moncalieri, Festival International de la Murcia in Spain, “Premio Città di Genova” among others.

A major presence in the performing arts since the age of thirteen, he has spent over four decades cementing his reputation.
Recent highlights include appearances in Canada, Usa, China, Japan, Australia, Korea, France, Arabia, India, Mexico.

 As a violinist he joins La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra, Milano Metropolitan Orchestra (concertmaster), “Verdi” Symphony Orchestra in Milan, San Carlo Opera House in Lisbon, and I Solisti Veneti Chamber Orchestra.

Francesco plays a famous “Ansaldo Poggi” violin (1982).
